About Me
Rebekah Congos
I walked into my first fitness class in 2010 and began a journey that did far more than helped me get into shape.
That class challenged me in unexpected ways. I stuck with it, finding strength I didn't know I had - physical, mental, and spiritual.
I began teaching Essentrics in 2015, completing the four-level program requiring extensive study to become a Certified Instructor.
Concurrently, I completed two college Associate's degrees - one in Business,
the other in Kinesiology to learn more about aspects of fitness and the human body.
From years of dance training throughout my life, I appreciate the strength and musicality required,
which led to also becoming both a Barre Above and a Pumped Up Strength Certified Instructor.
I have been married for 28 years, with two amazing daughters, a great son-in-law,
and a precious granddaughter born in 2021. We are active members at our church.
I enjoy walks with my dog, reading, working in my yard, an occasional home improvement project.
My husband and I enjoy pop-up camping and traveling together.
I have a great appreciation for music, which makes being a fitness instructor even more fun!
My passion for teaching is the students.
I have seen and heard countless stories from students in my classes,
stories of healing, strength, and gained confidence.
They are what makes what I do so rewarding!
